About Elizabeth and Kathy:
Kathy Wipff has been a yoga teacher for 18 years. She began her studies in 1986 Marin County California with Iyengar yoga when it was the only game in town. Later she added an Ashtanga element to her training.
She completed her first YTT in 1996 Diana Beardsley and Steve Walther at Center for Yoga in LA. and in 2002 at City Yoga with Naime Jezzeny and Anthony Benenati. She has also completed advanced teacher trainings and workshops with Rodney Yee, Paul Grilley, Gary Kraftsow, and Jill Miller. In 2013, she became a certified Yoga Tune Up® instructor. She did Crossfit for five years and holds a Crossfit Mobility Certification.
Kathy has been privileged to share the joy of her 30+ year yoga journey with her dearest daughter beginning at age four with a book called “Be a Bird, Be a Frog, Be a Tree.” Rolling around on the floor (walls, tables) playing yoga with friends and family remains one of her favorite activities.
Elizabeth Wipff is a lifelong yogi, avid CrossFitter, lead Yoga Tune Up® teacher/teacher trainer, and committed CrossFit coach with an insatiable eagerness to help students streamline movement, improve performance, and eliminate pain. Her athletic endeavors started early: she walked at 7 months, was roller skating at 3 and did her first yoga pose at 4! As a kid she played soccer and studied dance, Iyengar yoga, and therapeutic movement modalities. Elizabeth’s lifelong passion for movement; years of theater studies; love of show tunes; enthusiasm for fostering healthy functional movement in her clients; and knack for communicating information concisely and convincingly make her a sought after teacher.
She is a certified yoga teacher with studies in multiple disciplines from Iyengar-inspired alignment practices to creative, flowing vinyasa and has studied with Alison West, Rod Stryker, Dana Flynn, Rodney Yee, and Jill Miller. In addition, Elizabeth is a certified CrossFit trainer and USA Weightlifting L1 certified coach.

August 22-24, 2014 – Summer Bliss: A Yoga Retreat with Dina Ivas
Description
Escape the stress of the city for a fun weekend of serenity in nature. Treat yourself to 3-days of energizing and restorative yoga sessions, locally-grown fresh gourmet food, and blissful surroundings. Bring a good book, a bathing suit, a beach towel, and bask in the lush green fields, take a dip in the swimming pond, or gently sway into a soothing nap on the hammock. In the evening, enjoy s’mores around the bonfire, unwind in the hot tub, or sip wine under the starry skies. All-levels welcome.
About Dina
It took Dina a while to discover her inner ‘yogi.’ A former competitive gymnast, she earned her certification in Group Exercise in 2002, and headed to NYC to begin sharing her love of movement. The pressures of city life left her feeling totally unbalanced, and it was then that she discovered yoga. In 2010, Dina completed the 200-hour teacher training program at Sonic Yoga, becoming a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. She strives to offer classes that challenge the body and the mind, yet are fun, not intimidating, and accessible to all levels. She encourages students to explore on the mat, and keeps the mood lighthearted with great playlists and creative sequencing. Her approach to teaching yoga is embodied in three simple words: Breathe. Play. Grow. Dina is excited to host her first retreat at Heathen Hill, having recently returned from leading a 5-day retreat in Puerto Rico this February. She loves taking the practice of yoga out of the concrete jungle of NYC, where students can unplug, unwind and explore. For more about Dina, visit: www.yogawithdina.com
