Escape the stress of the city for a fun weekend of serenity in nature. Treat yourself to 3-days of energizing and restorative yoga sessions, locally-grown fresh gourmet food, and blissful surroundings. Bring a good book, a bathing suit, a beach towel, and bask in the lush green fields, take a dip in the swimming pond, or gently sway into a soothing nap on the hammock. In the evening, enjoy s’mores around the bonfire, unwind in the hot tub, or sip wine under the starry skies. All-levels welcome.
It took Dina a while to discover her inner ‘yogi.’ A former competitive gymnast, she earned her certification in Group Exercise in 2002, and headed to NYC to begin sharing her love of movement. The pressures of city life left her feeling totally unbalanced, and it was then that she discovered yoga. In 2010, Dina completed the 200-hour teacher training program at Sonic Yoga, becoming a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. She strives to offer classes that challenge the body and the mind, yet are fun, not intimidating, and accessible to all levels. She encourages students to explore on the mat, and keeps the mood lighthearted with great playlists and creative sequencing. Her approach to teaching yoga is embodied in three simple words: Breathe. Play. Grow. Dina is excited to host her first retreat at Heathen Hill, having recently returned from leading a 5-day retreat in Puerto Rico this February. She loves taking the practice of yoga out of the concrete jungle of NYC, where students can unplug, unwind and explore. For more about Dina, visit: www.yogawithdina.com

Genny Kapuler has studied yoga since 1976 and has been teaching since 1980. She has studied three times in India with the Iyengar family. Her primary teacher here is Mary Dunn.
Before the birth of her child and before she began teaching yoga, Genny performed as a modern dancer; for many years she had her own company. She is also trained as an Alexander-technique teacher and is a practitioner of Body-Mind Centering.
In addition to her yoga training, Genny has studied anatomy extensively.
She applies this knowledge to her understanding and teaching of yoga, directing her students toward a deeper awareness in asana and pranayama through precision of alignment. Genny also uses the poetics of language to guide her students, and to create “a mind-state in the room that is gentle and focused.”
Through Iyengar Yoga, she says, students attain ever more precise alignment of the skeletal-muscular, organ, and nervous systems. Working towards harmony of body, mind, and spirit, they are able to move out into the world with more grace.

Join Maya Ray and Caitlin Casella for a spacious weekend of yoga, play and deep rest. All levels are welcome. Turn off your phone, relax in a hammock, take a dip in the swimmin’ hole, and nourish yourself with delicious garden to table food. In the evening, warm up with good company around the campfire or a late night soak in a hot tub under the stars!
Maya Ray is a Certified Rolfer and a 500-hour Yoga Works teacher. She is a lifelong student of the human form and has studied anatomy and physiology quite extensively through human movement, structural integration, and cadaver dissections. Maya looks at teaching yoga and working as a Rolfer as similar in process. Both modalities peel away layers of stress, tension, and other maladaptive patterns so that everyone can be clearer in their bodies and their lives. Maya also teaches anatomy for yoga teacher trainings in New York and is an assistant teacher trainer at Yoga Works. www.mayaray.com
Caitlin Casella is a 500-hour YogaWorks certified teacher and trainer for YogaWorks 200 and 500 hour programs in the US and Japan. After moving to New York in 1999, Caitlin turned to yoga for stability and solace. Today the alignment and precision of Iyengar yoga, combined with a meditative union of movement and breath inspires her practice. Caitlin’s yoga classes are both physically challenging and quietly introspective. A slow flow, breath-centered approach teaches conscious transitions, integrated movement and embodied anatomy. Expect to work mindfully and deeply. Get to know your body better and walk away feeling stronger, lighter, and refreshed. www.caitlincasella.com

Lisa says:
“Native plants are unequaled in their ability to nourish and heal.” With this statement in mind, Lisa will take us for a walk to point out and identify the large variety of native medicinal and edible herbs and flowers.
We will harvest select plants, prepare herbal oils and then turn those oils into an incredible healing salve. Everyone will take with them their own container of Heal All Salve along with the satisfaction of the process…..identifying the plants in all their glory and finally producing a product that allows you to incorporate the benefits of these botanicals into your self care.
