Join me for my annual summer retreat to Heathen Hill in the Catskills! This weekend getaway is the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax, devote time to yourself and your yoga practice, and enjoy the amazing food and magic that is Heathen Hill.

Yoga

The yoga practices are open level. All are welcome! The retreat includes four practices, each two hours long with time for restorative, pranayama, and meditation. Expect personalized attention and instruction, intelligent and insightful sequences, and interesting prop work and movement exploration.

Free Time

Afternoons are for you to spend as you wish. Nap in a hammock, wander through the labyrinth, swim in the swimming hole, play badminton or horseshoes on the lawn, dive into a puzzle, or walk the gorgeous property.

Meals

Homemade breads, yogurt, and fruit are provided in each house for self-serve breakfast. Lunch and dinner are shared meals lovingly prepared by Susan and Lisa. The food is OUTSTANDING. The garden at Heathen Hill in the summer is slammin’ (as Susan says!) and inspires the vegetarian garden-to-table menu. Please email with any dietary restrictions or food allergies so that Susan and Lisa can accommodate your needs. Heathen Hill is BYOB no-judgement zone.

Accommodations

There are two options for accommodations at Heathen Hill. The Yoga House is the original house on the property. There are four rooms in the Yoga House, all with two single beds and shared bath. Big Heathen sits up on the hill and is the newest addition to Heathen Hill. There are six rooms in Big Heathen, some with two single beds and others with queen beds. There are both private and shared bath options. Sheets and towels are provided.

Transportation

Driving is the preferred mode of transportation. You can find directions to Heathen Hill here. There is also a bus to Oneonta via Trailways. From Oneonta, you can take a car service to Heathen Hill. Click here for more information.
