About Ana
Born and raised in Panama, Ana Coronell discovered yoga at an early age, when her aunt started offering yoga classes at her wellness center. She seriously committed to her practice in 2008 and began a long transformational journey that ultimately led her to pursue her 200 Hour Vinyasa teacher training at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in 2015. Ana has been especially drawn to the deeply healing and restorative practice of yin yoga, completing an additional 200 hours of Meridian Yoga Therapy and Yin training with Science of Self Yoga under the tutelage of Dr. Rose Erin Vaughan.
About Verónica
Verónica Labrador Monteiro is NYC Yoga and Meditation instructor She is also a high school Spanish teacher with more than two decades of experience. She first discovered yoga in 2008 at a time when she was experiencing stress which was adversely impacting her health. She asked a friend to accompany her to a class and it was love at first sight. She left with a renewed sense of joy and connection to her body. She knew that eventually she would train to become a yoga teacher, as she wanted to share this gift of wellness with others. She received her initial 200 Hour certification through Breathe For Change, a comprehensive program with a deep focus on the principles of teaching through a trauma informed lens as well as wellness and social emotional learning. Verónica is committed to creating classes which promote a sense of belonging and positive self worth. She draws upon her experience as practitioner and educator to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and welcoming to each and every body. Verónica is in deep gratitude to all of her mentors and teachers, especially Dr. Rose Erin Vaughan with whom she also completed a certification in Therapeutic and Extreme Yin.
