Join me for my annual Teacher’s Retreat at Heathen Hill in the Catskills! This continuing education intensive is designed to support your work as a yoga teacher. Refill your well, refine your skills, and fall back in love with your practice. This retreat is open to both yoga teachers and serious practitioners.
Expect an in-depth exploration of asana, pranayama, and meditation. Philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology will be woven into intelligently sequenced practices. Posture assessments will support your observational skills and understanding of asana. Time will be devoted to restorative, pranayama, and meditation. The space is always open for conversation and questions.
Free Time
Afternoons are for you to spend however you wish. Cozy up next the fire, dive into a puzzle, chat with new friends, or walk the gorgeous property.
Homemade breads, yogurt, and fruit are provided in each house for self-serve breakfast. Lunch and dinner are shared meals lovingly prepared by Susan and Lisa. To put it plainly, the food is OUTSTANDING. Please email with any dietary restrictions or food allergies so that Susan and Lisa can accommodate your needs. Heathen Hill is BYOB.
There are two options for accommodations at Heathen Hill. The Yoga House is the original house on the property. There are four rooms in the Yoga House. Each has two single beds. All of the rooms in the Yoga House are shared bath. Big Heathen sits up on the hill and is the newest addition to Heathen Hill. There are six rooms in Big Heathen, some with two single beds and others with queen beds. There are both private and shared bath options. Sheets and towels are provided.
Carpooling is the preferred mode of transportation. A group email will be sent closer to our departure date so that folks can coordinate rides. You can find directions to Heathen Hill here.
