This weekend retreat will combine yoga with movement practices from the Feldenkrais method, which helps develop awareness of how you move so that you can learn to move with more ease and enjoyment.
We’ll begin with an optional Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class Friday at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner. On Saturday, you’ll have a two-hour yoga class in the morning, combining asana and pranayama practice, and a two-hour Feldenkrais class in the late afternoon. In between, you’ll have time to explore the beautiful grounds at Heathen Hill or just take a break. Sunday morning will begin with another two-hour yoga class, followed by a country brunch.
Joe Miller’s passion is teaching how the body works, and how it can work better. He is a New York-based yoga teacher and Feldenkrais practitioner who teaches anatomy and physiology for yoga teachers around the world.
